The Super Mario Mini Basic Playset gives kids a small-scale environment for the 2.5-inch Mario figure line, with a themed section of the Mushroom Kingdom rendered in plastic at a size that matches the figures. Jakks Pacific has been the licensee for the World of Nintendo line for years, and the Mini playsets are the entry-level companions to the larger Deluxe sets, designed for kids who already have a few figures and want a place to stage them. The Basic set is built for portability and quick setup, and it stows easily for transport to a friend's house or a road trip, from Jakks Pacific.

- Themed Mushroom Kingdom environment for character display and play
Mario fans who already collect the 2.5-inch World of Nintendo figures will find the Mini Basic playset rounds out the play experience without forcing a commitment to a larger Deluxe set. Parents shopping for a smaller-price gift to pair with a single figure as a birthday or stocking stuffer will find the Mini Basic format right for that purpose. The smaller scale also keeps the price point lower than a full-size playset, which makes the Mini Basic an easier yes for parents who want to add to a Mario collection without breaking a budget.
