Chad Barrett was born in Demorest, Georgia in 1972. After growing up in rural North Georgia, Chad Barrett earned degrees in painting and art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Driven by a need to create, Chad is a down to earth artist with a contagious spirit. Known for his stylish, yet charming expressions of universal themes inspired by tradition, but contemporary in nature, his work is at once both decorative and emotionally vibrant. Working in various styles from whimsical to lyrical, classical to modern, Chad directs his energy toward creating the feeling that his vision dictates. Current works are large scale, mixed media on paper.
