Evoking the simple pleasures of days gone by, Mary Singleton's art reflects America's rural past as well as its beloved folk art tradition. With one image on each of twelve months, vertical wall calendars are narrower than most formats, allowing them to fit neatly into cubicles, niches, and other small spaces. Spiral bound with a hook and featuring an elegant gift sleeve, the LANG Folk Art Vertical Wall Calendar is the perfect choice for home or office. This calendar is perfect as décor in your home, kitchen, or office and easily helps to keep track of important dates, contacts, and other events at a glance. Each calendar month is easy to glance at and see what responsibilities you have coming up, so make sure you stay organized through the year! Personalization is easy with different colors for appointments and trips, add stickers or stickie notes for a quick reference, or create your own system of symbols and abbreviations.

About Lang Companies
Since establishment in 1982, LANG has become the essence of distinctive artistic expression embodied in fine home and gift products through our signature Americana themes that are synonymous with the LANG brand name. Each year brings an exciting opportunity to add new artists to the LANG Family so that we can continue to expand our unique artwork collection onto more calendar formats such as weekly planners, monthly planners, desk planners, pocket planners and more. We invite you to share in the tradition so many have followed through the years in enjoying beautiful artwork with loved ones. Whether it be in a LANG Wall Calendar that reminds you of someone special every day or a LANG Christmas Card that shows your loved ones how much you care, or a gift they will cherish for years, LANG's quality and inspiration stands the test of time.
Vertical Wall calendars are the perfect solution for narrow spaces. These calendars have room for stunning art or photography as well as usable calendar grids. Designed to fit where normal, full-sized calendars don’t, vertical wall calendars are created with a narrower format, making them a great choice for cubicles, refrigerators, lockers, kitchen cabinets, or any spot you can think of. These long-format calendars feature impressive, eye-catching artwork from illustrators, artists, or choose one of our many themes. You can even match them with mini calendars or fun monthly planners with your favorite artwork! Create your own gallery wall by featuring multiple vertical calendars in a row of similar theme. Or, keep track of the previous, current, and next month by lining three vertical calendars next to each other. Vertical calendars will keep you on track and use less real estate to do it, too! Check out the calendar specifications for exact dimensions and shop our vast selection of vertical calendars.
Artist Mary Singleton approaches her craft as a storyteller, painting imaginary scenes of rural America that reflect a simpler and more idyllic time. Using vivid color and rich detail, Mary creates heartwarming images that evoke an almost magical quality. Raised on a farm in southeast Wisconsin, Mary is a self-taught artist who began drawing as a child. The pastoral countryside and small towns along the Rock River provided her joy and also creative inspiration. Today, Mary paints from her “Studio in the Woods,” creating “stories” that recapture the feeling and memories of the beautiful river valley of her childhood. Using acrylics, she incorporates an abundance of color, activity and children into her artwork to communicate a sense of joy and innocence. Mary’s award-winning artwork has been displayed in galleries, art shows and on the covers of magazines. In 1992, Wisconsin Public Television named her “Artist of the Year.” Mary has lived in the same picturesque Wisconsin town for over sixty years. She has four children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
